Chapter one
Every mermaid has a story. Ours swam up a forest stream, found a village full of children who had never heard the songs of the lake, and decided to stay a while.
Now she travels to birthdays, library days and backyard celebrations with a basket of tales — the waterfall that hummed, the otter who lost her favourite stone, the heron who counted stars — and every child leaves as an honorary member of the river.

Reedy River Mermaid is a mermaid story time party service. A costumed mermaid performer comes to your birthday party, library day or backyard celebration with interactive stories, songs, a shell treasure hunt and a lucky duck pond game.
Reedy River Mermaid travels to homes, parks and party rooms in and around Greenville, South Carolina. Send the party location with your booking request and we will confirm we can reach you.
You can choose from six original mermaid characters: Coral, Lagoon, Kelp, Sands, Midnight and Winter. Midnight is a spooky-sweet character for fall parties and Winter is a holiday character for December.
There are three packages: Lily Pad Playdate is 45 minutes, Waterfall Wonderland is 75 minutes and Social Splash is 2 hours. Longer packages add a second story, the shell treasure hunt, the duck pond game and a shell-crown craft table.
Most parties are for children aged 3 to 10. Each mermaid suits a slightly different age range, from Coral for ages 3 to 6 up to Sands for ages 5 to 10.
